Wir sind spontan für die Kaffee- und Medizinpflanzentour vorbei gefahren und können sie absolut empfehlen! Keysh spricht super Englisch und sogar ein wenig Deutsch und erzählt leidenschaftlich von der Bribri Kultur, verschiedenen Heilpflanzen und natürlich der Kaffeepflanze. Wir haben viel probieren dürfen, viele Fragen gestellt und am Ende der Tour selbst Kaffeebohnen geröstet und gemahlen. Der Kakaodrink und die Kakaopaste waren sehr lecker :) Eine rundum gelungene Tour.

Wir haben die Catato Kakao Tour mit der ganzen Familie gemacht (Opa 76, Kinder 4, 6, 9 Jahre alt) und wir alle waren total begeistert. Pro Person 25 Dollar ist ein guter Preis. Kleine Gruppen, fern vom Massentourismus, absoluter Geheimtipp. Die Tour war auf Englisch aber Keysh konnte auch ein bischen auf deutsch insbesondere mit den Kindern sprechen und war toll mit ihnen. Das war wirklich super und nie langweilig für sie. Neben dem Herstellen von Kakao hat er noch einiges über die Bribri Kultur erzählt und über sämtliche Pflanzen die auf dem kleinen Grundstück wachsen. Meine Tochter war begeistert vom Dschungel Lippenstift, der Haarfarbe und dem kleinen Armband.
Obwohl die Tour nur ca 2 Stunden geht waren wir fast 4 Stunden da und hatten eine absolut tolle Zeit.

Der Besuch im indigenen Dorf der Bribri war eine unglaublich bereichernde Erfahrung. Es war faszinierend, mehr über ihre Traditionen, Kultur und Lebensweise zu erfahren und dabei einen authentischen Einblick in das ursprüngliche Costa Rica zu bekommen. Besonders spannend war es, den Ursprung des Kakaos kennenzulernen und den traditionellen Herstellungsprozess der Schokolade mitzuerleben. Wir haben die Kakaobohnen gemahlen, zu Paste verarbeitet und dann mit leckeren Bananen verkostet.
Unser einheimischer Guide Keysh hat die Tour außergewöhnlich authentisch und kinderfreundlich gestaltet. Er spricht sogar ganz gut Deutsch und andere Sprachen.
Ein wirklicher Geheimtipp fern ab vom Massentourismus. Wir sind einfach hingefahren und konnten direkt eine Tour machen.

We had an absolutely amazing time with Keysh. We did the chocolate tour and it was great to learn, how every plant and every animal is equally important and has its own unique purpose for the tasks that come across while living in a jungle. Keysh was very friendly and explained everything very well. Nothing felt Touristy or just acted. The people loved to show you their way of living and how they manage every task with the help of nature. Very nice experience. Would definitely recommend!!!

Nous avons passé la meilleure matinée de notre voyage au Costa Rica avec Keysh! Riche en explications , en chocolat, en émotions, il nous a immergé dans la culture bribri et le processus de fabrication de chocolat avec beaucoup de générosité. On s’est senti bienvenus et nous avons tellement appris. Keysh prend son temps et est passionné, c’est beau à voir. Je recommande à 1000%!

Ein wirklich tolles und authentisches Erlebnis über Kakao von der Pflanze bis zur Verarbeitung und Verkostung! 💕 Man ist mitten in dem Dorf des indigenen Volkes - Bríbrí und lernt sehr viel über die Kultur kennen. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und fühlten uns direkt wohl! Es war unvergesslich fahrt einfach direkt hin! 👍🏼

Die Tour wurde uns von unserem Host empfohlen und es war wirklich ein tolles Erlebnis. Wir haben durch Kësh einen ausführlichen und interessanten Einblick in die Geschichte, die Kultur und das Leben der Bribris erhalten. Nebenbei haben wir noch Kakao hergestellt und mit Banane gegessen und getrunken. Wir waren mehrere Stunden bei der Familie, eine sehr empfehlenswerte Tour. We had beautiful experience with Kësh, we spoke about everything and he really made us feel comfortable in his home.
We had a full experience on how make a real cacao in the jungle. Time was relative, we stay way more then what we aspect, probably 4/5h and totally depends on you. I highly recommend this tour if you want to take a real breath of Bri Bri culture.

Wir haben heute spontan an einer Führung bei den Bri-Bri teilgenommen und das sogar in deutscher Sprache, dank eines Volunteer aus Düsseldorf. Von der Pflanze bis zur Herstellung des Kakaos sowie über die verschiedenen medizinischen Pflanzen haben wir sehr viel erfahren. Dabei ist das Probieren nicht zu kurz gekommen. If you are looking for a deep mind opening experience or just adventure you should definitely book one of Kësh´s tours. It touched me from the first moment we met. He speaks bribri, Spanish, English and German....wow and within he has a lot of humor. He shares so much knowledge and wisdom we all have forgotten and in times like this where the world seems to fall apart, we should take the advantage of all the wise indigenous people to reconnect. Key! Como lo terminé llamando porque en poco tiempo se gana el cariño de quien lo visita, hará que te enamores, admires y respetes todo lo relacionado con los Bribris. Su conocimiento y visión impacta. Key te transporta a épocas donde la única posibilidad de sobrevivir es conociendo a la niña sacrificada, nuestra madre naturaleza. Su trip está basado en relatos y prácticas ancestrales. No hubo un movimiento real pero sí mental. Amazing tour of the Bri-Bri village and history! It was one of a kind, very interesting and beautiful! I loved seeing all the frogs and the taste of the authentic chocolate is better than I’ve ever had in my life. Kesh was so welcoming and friendly. We even got to swim in a waterfall. If you want to experience the true Bringing-Bri culture this is the tour for you.
