What to expect

We are passing through cacao farms, mature secondary forest, and finally reaching the pristine rainforest of Këköldi.

Experience an authentic guided hike to the Këköldi Waterfall in the heart of the Këköldi Indigenous Territory.

This rainforest hike combines nature, culture, and Indigenous knowledge. You will learn to interpret the forest and discover its secrets, just as the Bríbrí people have done for generations.The total distance is approximately 14km.

            Yëri Multiday Trek                 $ 600-800 pp

What to expect

Experience a remote multi-day jungle trek deep in the rainforest of Talamanca, guided by Bríbrí Indigenous knowledge

This expedition leads through rivers, mountains, primary forest, and sacred landscapes, ending at the natural hot springs of Yëri.

Itinerary

Day 1

Pick-up at your hotel → transfer to San Juan Port→ canoe crossing of the Telire River.

Hike approximately 10 km to Namú Wöki a Bríbrí village located at the foot of Mount Kásbatá.

Overnight camping in the village.

Day 2

Wake-up at 3:00 a.m., departure at 4:00 a.m.

Hike approximately 15 km to Yëri, located along the Katsi River.

Day 3

Full rest day to enjoy the natural hot springs, relax, and recover in the jungle.

Day 4

Return journey back to civilization.
